Residents' Day
A day of celebration and recognition of the achievements, progress and efforts of the residents during the year
Family Welfare Fiesta (Pesta Amal)
An annual carnival where volunteers, donors, supporters, ex-residents, residents and families come together in an atmosphere and spirit of fun, entertainment and education.
Futsal Tournament
This annual tournament reflects on MWH’s efforts of incorporating sports as part of its holistic rehabilitation programme. In addition to the development of character and social development for the residents, these sports activities are also opportunities for the Home to leverage community support for the residents.
The tournament has been well-received by the community, with strong participation from national schools, madrasah (Islamic Religious School), mosques and other youth groups.
Flag Day
Flag Day is an annual event that is designated for VWOs by the National Council of Social Service. Volunteers and beneficiaries from the VWOs will be carrying donations tins to solicit the funds from the public island-wide.
