The largest event for the Home held on August 31 and September 1, was a huge success,
attracting 6,000 supporters. Guest-of-Honor Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean graced the
event, which showcased the talents of MWH boys and fostered a spirit of giving and
community support.
Current and former residents actively participated, showcasing their talents by performing
gamelan and poetry declamation. Former residents returned to give back, manning the
MWH Drinks Booth.
23 booths featuring local vendors and F&B stalls contributed to fundraising efforts.
Overall, staff and residents praised the camaraderie, teamwork and opportunity to interact
with families and friends of the Home.
CharityFest 2024 was a resounding success, celebrating MWH’s 35-year journey and
reinforcing its commitment to providing a supportive community for its residents.
